Social media is the epicenter of engagement and relevance. Recognizing this, I took CTG from neglecting TikTok to becoming trailblazers in the platform. I led the transition from simply resizing TV spots into vertical format to crafting content tailored specifically for TikTok.

With the revival of The Secret Garden, we were working on a brand new musical on a large scale. We were tasked with building a marketing campaign and all assets from scratch which included two photoshoots and a video b-roll shoot to capture the revitalizing and enthralling nostalgia of The Secret Garden while featuring key members of our cast including Sierra Boggess and Julia Lester.
By researching the play's themes and characters, I ensured that the visuals aligned with the production's essence while infusing a touch of creativity and innovation. I worked with the actors to style their own wardrobe for the shoot and I embarked on a location scouting journey at the Huntington Gardens to find picturesque locations that would perfectly complement the musical's themes and provide an awe-inspiring backdrop for the cast.

Recognizing the significance of visually compelling content in today's digital landscape, I championed the prioritization of video of the production. Through persistent efforts, I successfully enhanced the overall quality of the b-roll footage by producing a four camera shoot, including a dedicated MOVI shoot, contributing to the success of the promotional materials and capturing the attention of the audience. Our release of Julia Lester singing ‘Hold On’ is CTG’s most engaged with video on YouTube ever.
Through post-production to strategically integrating the assets into various marketing channels, I ensured the final visuals effectively portrayed the play's narrative and emotion. I successfully navigated the approvals process with actors, directors, and producers, fostering open communication and incorporating their feedback to create a collaborative and impactful end product.

Another fun project for 'The Secret Garden' was designing a floral backdrop and neon sign to promote photos and engagement from our audience members. I ordered and designed the flower wall, worked with my team to hang and arrange the flowers, and coordinated with the neon artist for the design and installation.

In February of 2020, I had an idea to craft an institutional video to highlight all the things CTG staff members do on a daily basis–from the shows on our stages to our education department and beyond. I worked with every single department to film them, wrote the script, hired the vendors, and directed the edit. By the time I had scripted and scheduled this video, it was March 2020 and the final edit became all too poignant. When we returned to the stage in the fall of 2021, we knew we had to make a sequel. Revisiting every department, writing this script, and capturing the heart of this company is one of my favorite projects to date.

In order to best showcase the comedic brilliance of Mike Birbiglia, I knew we needed to get creative with our content. The goal of the photoshoot was to showcase Mike in front of the theatre, accompanied by a bold custom neon sign. Additionally, with a show called, “The Old Man and the Pool,” we couldn't resist the opportunity to utilize the theatre's pool as a unique and whimsical backdrop.

During the opening night, I took on the responsibility of conducting all red carpet interviews. Additionally, I gathered audience testimonial interviews, capturing the enthusiasm and feedback of those who experienced the production firsthand.
By actively shaping and overseeing various aspects of 'The Old Man and the Pool' video production, including shooting b-roll, conducting interviews, and supervising the editing process, I played a pivotal role in ensuring the creation of impactful promotional materials.

Guided by the intriguing character description of a woman who runs a roadside sandwich restaurant and "may or may not be the devil" from the script, I worked closely with the production designers to craft a visual narrative that would evoke a sense of mystery and intrigue and leave a lasting impression.
With our photoshoot, the goal was to capture captivating photography of our new lead actress, Tamberla Perry, in her full costume. The aim was to create a visually striking key art photo that would serve as a powerful promotional tool for the production.
I took charge of executing the photo shoot, booking the kitchen location and overseeing the coordination with production designers to ensure that the actress's hair, costume, makeup, and nails perfectly complemented the character and conveyed the production's aesthetic.

I spearheaded the conceptualization process, collaborating with the artistic team to develop a vision that would effectively convey the narrative, evoke the desired emotions, and showcase the cast on the dynamic set.
Once the photoshoot was completed, I oversaw the post-production phase, including collaborating with editors to add the finishing touches and supervising the rollout of the final deliverables, ensuring that they were effectively incorporated into promotional materials, digital platforms, and various marketing initiatives.

For 2:22 A Ghost Story, my first task was to quickly capture compelling photography of our all-star cast. Our goals was to create key art that emulated the style of the London production, as well as to generate other essential assets for promotional purposes.
I hired suitable vendors and then meticulously scheduled four actors located on two different coasts. I ensured that the shoot was efficiently planned and executed, maximizing the limited time available while maintaining a high standard of quality.
After the photo shoot, I oversaw the selection and post-production process to curate the most captivating visuals. These images were then utilized to create key art and other essential assets for promotional purposes, including a TV Spot.

Next, I wrote a script and produced a TV spot using our portraits and collaborated with the video team on motion graphics and overall editing style. Moreover, I worked closely with the media buyer to strategically place TV advertisements as part of the comprehensive marketing plan and trafficked the final spot. During the B-Roll footage capturing process, I collaborated with the video director to provide guidance in directing the cameras and selecting scenes. This footage was used for all press coverage, all following video content, and a second trailer, which I wrote and produced.
Conducting interviews with the cast members was another vital aspect of my role. With such a notable cast, we wanted to ensure that the cast and crew received the spotlight they deserved. Furthermore, I ventured into the realm of TikTok marketing. Working closely with the video team, I adapted the video specifications to suit the TikTok platform.

As the key video producer for 'A Transparent Musical,' I undertook various crucial responsibilities to effectively showcase the world premiere production. Despite facing challenges such as limited access to the actors due to time constraints, I adapted by finding innovative solutions that allowed us to highlight the production's key aspects without time for a traditional photo and/or video shoot.
A notable accomplishment during the video production was securing a rehearsal video—a significant trend in modern musical theatre marketing. Recognizing its impact and relevance, I devoted considerable efforts to obtain approvals and meticulously schedule the rehearsal video.
I flew to New York to conduct interviews with all of the writers of 'A Transparent Musical.' This endeavor required detailed planning and coordination as I scheduled their time, arranged for studio space, and hired a video team in New York while I was still in Los Angeles. I ensured that the creative insights and perspectives of the writers were authentically captured and represented into the promotional material.
